Kate Seredy
Kate Seredy (10 November 1896 – 7 March 1975) was a Hungarian-born writer and illustrator of children's books, written in the English language. She moved from Budapest to the United States in 1922.
Her 1937 novel, The White Stag was awarded the Newbery Medal for excellence in children's literature.
